     twconvert - converts v1.0 Tripwire databases to v1.1

SYNOPSIS
     twconvert

DESCRIPTION
     twconvert is a utility that converts all the base-64  values
     in  older Tripwire database files (database formats 1 and 2)
     to that used in v1.1 (database format 3).   twconvert  reads
     the  database  from stdin and outputs the converted database
     to stdout.  No arguments are used.

     twconvert automatically detects which  database  format  the
     input database is using.

     Because the  database  files  for  Tripwire  v1.2  (database
     version  4)  contain more information than earlier versions,
     these older databases cannot  be  converted  to  version  4.
     Instead,  they must be re-initialized by Tripwire.  (In this
     regard, twconvert is vestigal, but will undoubtedly be  used
     in the future.)
