     dtmediaactions - CDE removable media management actions

SYNOPSIS
     The following removable media management  actions  are  sup-
     ported in CDE:

     Dtmediamgr
     MediaOpen volmgt_symname
     MediaEject volmgt_symname
     MediaRename volmgt_symname volume label
     MediaWProtect volmgt_symname
     MediaRWProtect volmgt_symname
     MediaDisableProtect volmgt_symname
     MediaFormat volmgt_symname
     MediaProperties volmgt_symname
     MediaSlice volmgt_symname

DESCRIPTION
        Dtmediamgr
              Open a view of the Removable Media Manager.

        MediaOpen volmgt_symname
              Open a folder view of the medium indicated  by  the
              volmgt_symname argument.

        MediaEject volmgt_symname
              Eject the medium indicated  by  the  volmgt_symname
              argument.

        MediaRename volmgt_symname volume label
              Rename the medium indicated by  the  volmgt_symname
              argument  to  have  a  volume name indicated by the
              volume name argument.

        MediaWProtect volmgt_symname
              Write  Protect  the   medium   indicated   by   the
              volmgt_symname argument.

        MediaRWProtect volmgt_symname
              Read-write Protect  the  medium  indicated  by  the
              volmgt_symname argument.

        MediaDisableProtect volmgt_symname
              Disable write protection or  read-write  Protection
              for  the  medium  indicated  by  the volmgt_symname
              argument.

        MediaFormat volmgt_symname
              Format the medium indicated by  the  volmgt_symname
              argument.

        MediaProperties volmgt_symname
              Display the properties of the medium  indicated  by
              the volmgt_symname argument.

        MediaSlice volmgt_symname
              Edit Solaris slices on the medium indicated by  the
              volmgt_symname argument.

     These actions can be invoked from an application  using  the
     DtActionInvoke(3)  function  or  invoked from a command line
     using the dtaction(1) utility.

OPERANDS
     volmgt_symname
          This is the short symbolic  name  that  Solaris  volume
          management  uses to identify the media (eg. floppy0) or
          media slice/partition (eg. zip0_s0).
