HOST, RLOGIN_URL, TELNET_URL - CDE hostname data types
SYNOPSIS
@hostname
rlogin://hostname
RLOGIN://hostname
telnet://hostname
TELNET://hostname
DESCRIPTION
The CDE datatyping system recognizes strings of this form as
specifying a particular host. The hostname format is
defined in hosts(4). If contents of an object (file, mailer
attachment, dragged text) consist solely of a string in one
of these formats, then CDE will classify it as the
corresponding host data type.
FILE FORMAT
The HOST datatype begins with '@'.
The RLOGIN_URL datatype beginss with 'rlogin://' or 'RLO-
GIN://'.
The TELNET_URL datatype begins with 'telnet://' or 'TEL-
NET://'.
ACTIONS
Actions that apply to these data types are described in
dthostaction(5).
The MOVE_TO_ACTION and COPY_TO_ACTION of these data types is
DoRemotely.
The default action of HOST is Terminal. Other actions
defined for HOST include ProcessManager, Perfmeter, Wsinfo,
Dtfile, Df, SDTpowermgr, SDTsuspend, Reboot, Halt, and
Admintool.
The default action of RLOGIN_URL and TELNET_URL is Open,
which maps to Rlogin_Open. Other actions defined for these
data types include Perfmeter and Edit.
