NAME utselect - provides a GUI-based interface to utswitch (a Sun Ray software command) SYNOPSIS /opt/SUNWut/bin/utselect [ -L ] [ -R ] [ -S ] [ -X ] DESCRIPTION The utselect command presents the output of utswitch -l in a window and allows mouse-based selection of a Sun Ray server to which the Sun Ray appliance in use is reconnected. The sessions in the window are sorted in order of last connec- tion time, with the latest first. The second line in the list is highlighted by default to allow easy switching between two servers. The Refresh button on the window causes the window contents to be updated by re-executing the utswitch -l command. When the Ok button is pressed, a utswitch -h command is executed with the hostname on the highlighted line. OPTIONS The following options are supported: -L Configure the program to run in "login" mode, that is, before the CDE login screen. The differ- ences are that selecting the current server is allowed and causes the command to exit, the default selection is set to the current server, the locale is determined in a manner similar to CDE, the screen is centered in the display, and if there is only one server choice, the command exits. -R Remote server selection is enabled. This enables a text entry field in which an arbitrary server name can be entered. -S Remote server selection is disabled. -X Always exit after making a selection from the list.
