NAME devfseventd - kernel event notification daemon for devfsadmd SYNOPSIS /usr/lib/devfsadm/devfseventd DESCRIPTION devfseventd(1M) is a daemon that provides kernel event notification services to the devfsadmd(1M) daemon. devfsadmd uses devfseventd to receive notifications when device nodes are added or removed from the kernel device tree or when a new version of path_to_inst(4) needs to be flushed to disk. The /etc/rcS.d/S50devfsadm script starts devfseventd. EXIT STATUS The following exit values are returned: 0 Successful completion. non-zero An error occurred.
